Bible lessons, songs, crafts, games, Carnival Day, Fun Trips!
Action Day Camp is an exciting week for children! Hosted by Berean Baptist Church, ADC is a week-long day camp packed with FUN – games, crafts, friends, Fun Trips, Carnival day! ADC is a week full of the LOVE of JESUS – we start every morning with songs, skits, verses, and Bible stories to teach children the truth of John 3:16, that God loves the whole world, and Jesus died for the whole world.
Children who have completed Kindergarten and have not entered grade 6 may attend.
Action Day Camp meets Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. We spend the morning at the church, and most afternoons on Fun Trips such as the zoo, Jungle Joe’s, Kalamazoo Valley Museum, River Oaks Park, or the Nature Center (trips change from year to year). Campers are placed on teams of 10-15 children led by a counselor (high school senior through adult) and assistant counselors (high school teens).
ADC is a great opportunity for children to receive the benefits of a traditional Vacation Bible School, as well as experience the fun of a camp, while not having to stay overnight. We would love to see your camper join the fun this summer!
The cost for the entire week is only $75.00. A $25 DEPOSIT is required to ensure your child is registered. This price includes all camp activities and trips, supplies, official Action Day Camp T-shirt, the cook-out on Monday, crafts, snacks, and prizes for everyone who participates. No money is needed by the camper during the week. Register by June 9th to guarantee T-shirt size.
We will be holding Action Day Camp at Berean Baptist Church. Campers can begin arriving at 8:45am. Please arrange to pick up your camper between 4:00-4:15 each day. We will go off campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday for that day’s “Fun Trip.”
Every effort is made to maintain a healthy and safe camping program for children. Emphasis is placed on enabling your child to develop spiritually, mentally and physically.
