Berean Baptist Church is a church striving to develop fully devoted followers of Christ. We believe that it is important to invest in children with an intentional plan to lay a biblical foundation in their lives during their formative years.
BUILD Children’s Ministries at Berean seeks to accomplish this goal by building up families by supporting and equipping them to become lifelong Christ followers.

Nursery – We offer a fully-staffed nursery for children ages 0-2 during Sunday School and church services.
Bible Instruction – Sunday School classes are offered for children ages 2 through 5th grade at 9:00 AM. Children’s Church for ages 2 through kindergarten, and Junior Church for children in grades 1-5, are offered during the 10:30 AM worship hour. Classes are divided by birthday or grade level, and children are promoted to the next class on the first Sunday in September.
AWANA – On Wednesday nights during the school year, children ages 3 years old through 6th grade can participate in our AWANA program. AWANA is a worldwide ministry whose mission is to reach kids, equip leaders and change the world for God. Meetings include verse memorization, game time, Bible learning, and fun! Nursery is provided for children ages 0-2 of adults who are participating in the Wednesday night programs.
Music – Children in kindergarten through fifth grade can participate in Christmas and spring musicals each year. Rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings.
Action Day Camp – Action Day Camp is a week-long full-day summer camp for children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade in the previous school year. ADC includes Bible lessons, songs, crafts, games, a carnival day, and fun field trips.
Family Events – Berean offers various opportunities for families to have fun and serve, including SNACs (Sunday Night After Church), Rake & Run, trunk-or-treat, camping trips, potlucks, annual missions conferences, and many others.
Library – The church library has over 10,000 books, audio books, and DVDs for adults, teens, and children of all ages, available for anyone who attends Berean to borrow. The library also sponsors reading programs and read-aloud times, and produces a monthly newsletter.
Your Child’s Safety – Keeping all children safe is a top priority. We use computerized check-in & check-out through Planning Center, which prints out a name tag for the child and a security label for the parent/guardian. Parents/guardians must show the security label upon check-out for the child to be released. We have ushers monitoring the halls in our children’s area during Sunday morning services, and all of our children’s workers have signed and abide by our Safe Haven policy.
Permission Slip – All children from kindergarten up need a permission slip filled out for church activities.
